Jennifer Cichon - B.Sc K, M.ScPT, CAFCI
Owner / Physiotherapist
Jen is a physiotherapist and the proud owner of Airdrie Physiotherapy & Massage. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and went on to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston. She has been a practicing physiotherapist since 2006 and was the clinic director for a large company in Calgary. She is passionate about helping people get better and improve their quality of life. She believes in personalized, hands-on treatment and education as opposed to only machine based treatment.
Jen cares about her patients. This is reflected in each treatment and experience with her. She has completed Level 3 in Manual Therapy and is certified in acupuncture and hip rehabilitation. Jen has completed the Diagnostic Imaging course through the University of Alberta and has completed post graduate courses for the foot and hips as well as myofascial release.
She enjoys skiing, hiking and is an avid runner having completed many half marathons over the years. She is a proud mother and loves spending time with her husband and children when she’s not helping people get better.
Eyal Okin - B.PT, CMT, Dry Needling, Vestibular
Eyal is a University of Haifa graduate and holds a degree in Physiotherapy (2006). He is certified in spinal and peripheral manipulations, and has the dry needling certification for treating chronic myofascial and neuropathic pain in the spine and extremities. He brings experience working as a physical therapist with a variety of athletes, including those playing elite level soccer, swimming and CrossFit.
Eyal has a special interest in vestibular therapy and concussion, and received a certificate of competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation. He believes in integrating manual therapy, dry needling, myofascial release, taping and exercise prescription in a multi-modal approach to treatment for success in healing and recovery.
Eyal is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew.
Ken Luu - MScPT, CAFCI
Ken graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He has also obtained his Certificate of Anatomical Acupuncture (CAFCI) from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and his Level 2 Certificate for Functional Dry Needling (IMS) from Kineticore. Ken is also a Kinesio Taping provider after completing the KT1 and KT2 courses with Kinesio Taping Canada, and has completed Level 3 of the Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Courses
A lifelong student of martial arts, Ken has incorporated the self improvement philosophies of the various styles he has trained in into his treatment approach. This includes a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, IMS/dry needling, and most importantly an individualized exercise program for each client to improve their specific condition.
Ken currently enjoys training in Muay Thai in his spare time. He has also previously trained in Tai Chi, San Shou, holds a 2nd degree black belt in Chito Ryu Karate, and a 1st degree black belt in Ko Bu Jutsu.
Marika deWinter - B.Sc K, M.ScPT
Marika graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and from Dalhousie University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Marika is Manual Therapy certified and has also completed a course on concussion prevention and management. Marika has experience working with elite soccer and volleyball players as an on-field student therapist.
Marika enjoys staying active in free time with running, weight lifting, skiing, and hiking. She moved to Calgary from the east coast and loves all that the mountains have to offer. Marika believes in an active approach to rehabilitation involving exercise, education, and hands-on treatment to ensure that her patients are reaching their maximum potential.
Marhanda Keeping - B.Sc K, M.ScPT
Physiotherapist / Pelvic Health Physio
Marhanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. She has volunteered for the PAAL program which is designed to offer physical activity opportunities to children with both physical and intellectual disabilities. Marhanda has completed 3 levels of pelvic floor physiotherapy training. This includes treatment of: incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, bladder pain, and persistent low back pain referring to the pelvic floor. She has further been thoroughly educated on persistent pain and nervous system hypersensitivity for those who have struggled with long-term pain in any area of the body.
Marhanda moved to Alberta to be close to family and her two dogs. She is originally from Northern British Columbia and is excited to be close to the mountains again. She leads an active lifestyle of spin classes and hiking. Her treatment style is encouraging active participation in exercises complimented with manual therapy and education. Marhanda is eager to help people participate in life fully and improve their quality of life as much as possible.
Sukhdeep graduated with a Bachelors of Physiotherapy in 2013 and also holds a Masters Degree in Sports Physio. Over the past 11 years she has acquired a broad range of experience in manual therapy, mobilizations, core stability, muscle energy techniques, neurodynamics, injuries of the shoulder and kinanthropometery.
She has experience in sports physiotherapy working as an on-field sports physiotherapist at National sports tournaments .
In clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes the use of manual therapy and various hands-on techniques to correct biomechanics followed by strengthening to maintain it .
Sukhdeep has completed courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health physiotherapy Level 3, Functional Dry Needling, TMJ Physiotherapy, Neurofascial Reset and Concussion Therapy .
Apart from work, Sukhdeep loves to read about new research in the field of health and physiotherapy. She enjoys running, going to the gym and spending time with her family.
Brittany Crowe - B.Sc Kin, M.ScPT, Dry Needling
Brittany graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and continued her education at the University of Alberta where she completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Brittany is certified in Level 2 Manual Therapy, Functional Dry Needling, Anatomical Acupuncture, and TMJ/TMD Management.
Brittany brings her enthusiasm for learning to the team and a passion for helping people recover and stay active. She believes in an educational approach to recovery in conjunction with manual therapy to help her patients avoid future problems. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, camping and baking.

Kristen was born and raised in the small town of Belle River, Ontario. There she completed her 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma at the Canadian College of Heath Sciences & Technology in 2008. Once finishing her diploma, Kristen then took the next steps to becoming a fully certified RMT, and a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Shortly after this, Kristen decided to make the move to Calgary, to start a new chapter in her life. Once she arrived in Calgary, Kristen was quick to become a member of the Massage Therapists Association of Alberta, and started working in spas, before moving on to a Physiotherapy Clinic. With Kristen’s varied background in different working environments she is well rounded in relaxation and deep tissue, as well as massage for sports related injuries.
Kristen is always striving to increase her knowledge base and give her clients the best service possible. Kristen volunteers at running marathons and works with charity groups. In 2011, Kristen joined the Canadian Cancer Society and worked with them to create the “Charity Chair Massage” event to raise money and awareness for their organization.
Kristen is a very high energy person, and likes to stay healthy by working out and doing cardio with her dog, Copper. She loves the water, and gets as humanly close as possible to large bodies of it whenever possible. When she gets the chance, she enjoys going boating and fishing.
Sheryl has been a massage therapist since 2001. She graduated from the Lethbridge College in 2001 with honors and on December 2013 she wrote and passed her 2200hr Competency Equivalency Exam (CEE) at Mount Royal University.
Sheryl is trained in a wide variety of techniques such as Trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, myo-fascial cupping, and basic Lymphatic drainage. In 2003 she worked at the University of Lethbridge Health and Wellness centre performing massage therapy to students and faculty members, and in conjunction with medical doctors and onsite chiropractors and physiotherapists.
In 2016 Sheryl traveled to the Mayan Riviera on a massage conference to learn Integrated Ear, Hand, and Foot reflexology for injury and pain. She loves to continuously learn new techniques to better aide her clients needs.
When she is not not working, Sheryl loves to travel and be outdoors. She is happiest camping outside or hiking. In 2013 she attempted the West Coast Trail. You will have to ask her about all the stories with that adventure!
Lisa is a graduate of MH Vicars School of Massage, earning a 2200 hour Remedial Massage Therapist degree. Offering therapeutic and relaxation massage based on appropriate assessment and treatment planning using a variety of techniques including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point release, active inhibition, hydrotherapy.
Originally from the Northwest Territories, Lisa moved to Airdrie in 2017 to pursue a career in Massage Therapy, further building on her passion for teaching fitness classes, nutrition coaching and leading life change programs.
With a background in health and wellness and training the body to grow and change, massage therapy is a nice balance in training the body to slow down and recover, both physically and mentally.
Each assessment and treatment will be customized to meet your specific concerns from relaxation to therapeutic deep tissue.
Selena is a graduate of MaKami College’s 3,000 hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program. With a passion for Healing and Rehabilitation, Selena excels at Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
She incorporates a variety of different techniques to personalize each clients treatment plan, including but not limited to: Orthopedic Assessment, Myofascial release, hydrotherapy, joint mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, and Stretching techniques.
Selena is always looking to expand her repertoire of knowledge so that she can better assist her clients through their therapy. She brings to the team a big empathetic heart, a smile and a great sense of humour.
When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with her two dogs, doing photography, and working on her various painting and wire weaving jewelry projects.
After completing the foot reflexology program in Victoria with the Canadian Reflexology School in 2011, Charlene was eager to be a part of the healing process for her clients and decided to pursue massage therapy. Charlene graduated from MH Vicars in Calgary from the 2200 Hour program in 2019. She has successfully completed the OSCE and MCQ government exams in Newfoundland.
Along with relexology, Charlene enjoys therapeutic massage, myofascial release, trigger point release and lymphatic drainage. She looks forward to continued education and adding more modalities to ensure clients receive the best care.
In her free time, she enjoys being outside, meditating, and being with family and friends making memories.
Erika Schijns BKin, C. Ped (C)
Erika received her Kinesiology degree with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Erika continued on to complete the Pedorthics program at Western University, graduating with distinction. She first gained interest in Pedorthics while volunteering at a Pedorthic clinic in Waterloo.
She experienced the wide range of ailments orthotics can help, and appreciated the large number of people who are affected. Soon after graduating from Western, she became certified and is a proud member in good standing of both the Pedorthic Association of Canada and the College of Pedorthics of Canada. Being active herself, Erika has a broad passion for sports and associated injuries however also have a strong belief in preventative health management.
Outside of work, you can find Erika in the mountains hiking, skating or snowboarding.
Shayla was born and raised in Calgary. She is a graduate from the School of Business at SAIT. She loves helping people and learning new skills. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching hockey and being creative
Jenessa grew up in Surrey, BC and is now a happy resident of Airdrie.

When not at work, Jenessa often spends her time cooking, knitting and relaxing with her cats, friends, and family.
Shelly grew up in Toronto but has been in Alberta for over 20 years. She has been in customer service for 20 years and enjoys helping people.
When not at work her time is spent, cooking, knitting, reading, watching MMA, walking her dog and spending time with her family and grandson.
